Greetings William Annin Families!

We hope this email finds you well!  As we are midway through our second week of virtual learning, we wanted to reach out and let you know how we truly miss seeing your children during this time of quarantine, their smile and laughter always brighten our day.  Please tell them we said hello!

Why social distancing?  This is the ultimate test of a community and looking out for others.  We are doing this for the child fighting cancer, we are doing this for the grandmother with heart disease, we are doing this for the mother battling breast cancer, we are doing this for the friend who is immunosuppressed from a chronic condition – this is no longer an issue of “me” but a community of “we”.  We are doing this to STOP the spread of this new, awful virus.  The sooner it stops, the sooner we can be back together.  Let’s do this!  No playdates, no sleepovers, practice social distancing and let’s end this as soon as we can.

These are truly unprecedented times, we have no reference point to fall back on as this has never happened before, for any of us!  That uncertainty can be scary.  We can choose to live in fear or we can choose to embrace this new way of life right now and savor the extra time we have with our precious children and families.  Go outside for a walk with your children, play a board game, practice mindfulness as a family – connect to each other and savor the gift of time.  In our fast paced society, we very rarely get a chance to slow down and while this is for a terrible reason, let’s embrace the positives and spread love, not germs.

Be well,

Debbie, Stacey and Darlene
