The mission of the William Annin Middle School PTO is to strengthen, enhance, and encourage the educational and social environment of the William Annin Middle School.
Dear WAMS Parents:
This year William Annin Middle School has partnered with the United Way and The College of St. Elizabeth, in order to assist us with analyzing the culture and climate at the middle school. This comprehensive approach will provide us the opportunity to identify areas of strength and potential areas of growth that impact ALL stakeholders. Students, staff and parents are all being asked to complete this anonymous survey within 72 hours of receiving this link.
With your input and feedback we will be able to create an action plan that reflects the parental views on our programs. I will be emailing parents daily with updates regarding participation rates in the hopes of encouraging you to take the 20 minute survey. Once the results from the survey have been analyzed they will be shared out with the parent community as well as our comprehensive action plan.
I have attached an additional information about the anonymous survey (please click on Introduction and FAQs for information). I realize how busy many of you are with work and home responsibilities, and greatly appreciate your support with completing this survey!!!

This is a terrific gift drive that the Peer Leaders of William Annin Middle school do each year to help children in need during holidays. The Smoke Screen – Vaping and E-Cigs Risk Factor

We will have the pleasure of having Mr. Douglas S. Collier, M.A., DEA (Ret.), to present “The Smoke Screen”, a presentation on vaping and e-cigs and the risk factors associated with vaping, which are linked to high use rates of other drugs among adolescents.

WAMS Parent Book Talk Opportunity – WAMS will be hosting a book talk for interested parents on the topic of overexposure of information that our children face from a young age. The title of the book is called “Artificial Maturity” by Tim Elmore.
In this book talk, parents will be able to discuss with school professionals the practical steps adults can take as outlined in this book to furnish students with the experiences they need to balance their abilities with authentic maturity.
Book Talk will be facilitated by Mr. Dan Lederer (Assistant Principal) and Dr. Barbara Bush (Student Assistance Counselor and Licensed Psychologist)
